DURBAN ILLUSTRATIONS
DURBAN TAXI
urban city is located in KwaZulu Natal in one of the nine South African
provinces; this city has one of the cleanest beaches in South Africa, and many
people from different cities, and towns and other locations of the world come
to live a city life. South Africa is a
multicultural and multilingual country, but there is only one visual language
these communities understand “taxi sign language”.“By rounding up a pointing finger” that is a sign that means u are taking
a taxi
Durban taxis are an affordable transport to all; it cost R4 to circulate
a city from the year 2011 and 2012.
There are many job opportunities, schools, tertiary institutions and
business places in this city and many people rely on taxis to get to these
places. A taxi business is a very complex business; it has very different
management rules in different regions, taxis are grouped in ranks according to
the areas they drive to, taxi owners sometimes fight over places
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL SOUTH AFRICA - CAMPAIGN
I HAVE A RIGHT TO ADEQUATE HOUSING
This is a Republic of South Africa, many
people in rural areas and other parts of the country are still fighting for
freedom; not against opposing political leaders or any racial discrimination
but against poverty. In the South African constitution under the bill of rights
it states that human right are for all. Shelter is the basic need for every human being; many people have died
due to inhumane living conditions. In this project I will be exposing that the South African government is
not doing enough to achieve the adequate standard of life for it citizens,
although we know that this is a developing country and somehow it’s the
government controls media, But this does not mean we should look and let the government violate our
right
